Our first wooden toy is inspired by the Hawaiian Monk Seal! This set of 6 seals creates an interlocking puzzle for display and storage. These seals are perfect for imaginative play, where they can swim and interact throughout the playroom. They are also fun as an advanced stacking game, where keiki (or adults) can practice balancing the curved shapes on top of one another.
Each stacker is cut from a single 1" thick poplar hardwood board. They are approximately 8" by 10" when assembled as a puzzle. Each set is hand cut, sanded, painted, and sealed with a lot of love, care, and intention. Because they are handmade, each set is unique and may not fit with another set. We believe handmade wooden toys should connect children to the materials they are playing with, so we try to maintain the look and feel of the wood grain throughout our process. They are perfectly imperfect.
While we aim to use the highest quality wood and non-toxic paint and finishes, this item has not yet been tested to comply with Child Product Safety Compliance Standards. Children should be supervised at all times when playing with this item. Recommended for children ages 3+.
